Samsung has released a new docking station named DeX Station along with the Samsung S8.
What is DeX Station anyway?
The DeX Station is a docking station that turns your Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ into a PC. 
The DeX Station has a HDMI port, Ethernet port, 2 USB-A 2.0 ports and USB-C charging port. The ports allows the user to connect a HDMI compatible monitor, USB keyboard and mouse plus an Ethernet cable for Internet. The Ethernet port is a 100Mbps port.
The docking station also has a fan to keep the phone cool while it is docked.
The screen wakes up as soon as the phone is docked into the DeX Station.
The Android UI has been designed to work with a keyboard and a mouse. It gives the user a Desktop PC experience. Users are able to work on Word documents, Excel documents and view websites in full desktop mode.
For users wanting to free up space in their study or work area this will be the ideal device. Less devices occupying space on your desk and also consumes less power unlike traditional PC’s.
The DeX station can be connected to a HDMI compatible TV such as a Samsung TV as well.
